Chaplain
The Chaplain, the Revd. Elizabeth Macfarlane, writes:
I care for all college members and staff, of every faith and none, and am always available to listen. Anyone may come and talk to me in confidence, about any matter of concern, and whilst as Chaplain I have a spiritual role within College, I won’t impose a religious agenda.
I have worked as a priest in outer London and beside the Thames, and am delighted to be back in Oxford where I read both English and theology. My graduate work has looked at the ways in which ideas of the saints have been used to influence church practice, from church restoration projects to pageants.
I am always pleased to see anyone who knocks on my door (North 5.1) in search of coffee, tea or conversation.
