Forms
The College issues various forms to help govern and support members during their time at St John's. This page aims to collate all of the main forms you might need into one handy place.
Accommodation Forms
- Guidance on just about everything - including accommodation, electrical appliances, guest rooms, parking, computer rooms and meals battels - can be found in the Domestic Arrangements document.
- If you want to bring your own furniture into the College, you will need a Registration of Personal Furniture Form.
- If you want to bring your own electrical applicances into the College - such as hairdryers, computers or booster heaters - you will need to complete an Electrical Registration Form.
- If you want to stay in College after the end of term, or return before the next term starts, you will need a Vacation Residence Form. For the full information, please see the Vacation Residence section.
Financial Forms
- If you are experiencing unforeseen financial hardship download a College Hardship Grant Form, to be submitted to the Senior Dean. There is also a University Hardship Grant Form - for more information download the Factsheet.
- For help towards the purchase of approved books, materials, and other items of an academic nature, you will need an Academic Grant Form. For more information, please see the Undergraduate Funding page.
- The College offers help towards travel and subsistence for purposes of an academic nature (not necessarily directly related to your course). Undergraduates will need a Special Grant Form to be submitted to the College Office - please see the Undergraduate Funding page for more details. There is also a Graduate Special Grant Form, with further details on the Graduate Funding page.
- The College pays grants of up to £250 per year to members of University representative team squads to cover their costs. Claims are made on a Blues Squad Form which is to be submitted the Sports Officer, Professor Zoltan Molnar, along with counter-signed receipts.
- Undergraduates reading for a degree in Fine Art may claim an equipment grant of up to £435 per year, via the Fine Arts Materials Form.
- There is also a Thesis Binding Form with which you can claim reimbursement for some of your thesis binding costs. The College will pay towards binding two copies of a D.Phil Thesis. One of the copies must be for submission to the Bodleian Library. Up to £30.00 maximum per copy may be claimed back from the College. Submit the form, together with receipts, to the College’s Finance Officer. All claims must be made within three months of being granted leave to supplicate for your D.Phil.

Prizes and Scholarships Forms
- Graduate Scholarships are awarded on the basis of excellence - please download the Graduate Scholarships Form and read the Graduate Funding page for the criteria.
- North Senior and Beeston Scholarships are also offered to graduate students. Please download the North Senior and Beeston Scholarships Application Form and find out more on the Graduate Funding page.

Degree Day Form
- To book a degree day you will need a Degree Days Application Form. Please make sure you read the information on the Degree Days page before submitting it.
