Undergraduate Accommodation

First Year students will be given a room in either the Beehive or Tommy White Quad. The room featured above is a typical First Year room in “the Beehive” – so called because of the building’s innovative architecture. Rooms are allocated by the College for First Years but they're all a good size. All rooms in College have mini-fridges and a shared bathroom on the staircase.

The room featured above is the other type of First Year room – a room in Thomas White Quad, nicknamed “Tommy White Quad”. These rooms are slightly smaller than those in the Beehive but they’re still a good size.

In your second and third years, you will be able to choose your own room from a variety of sizes and prices. The order in which people choose is decided by a ballot to ensure it is fair. The room featured above is typical of most Third Year rooms on offer. It is large and has a basin inside and a bathroom just outside.

The room above is one of the best undergraduate rooms available. Garden Quad rooms are usually chosen by Third Year students. They are large (the picture shows about half of the space) and have a sink, fitted wardrobes, and a shared bathroom nearby.
