Organ Scholar
Francis Goodburn was elected to the Paddy organ scholarship in October 2011. He is studying Mathematics and Computer Science. A parish organist since the age of 11, he was appointed as school organist at St John Fisher Catholic High School, Harrogate in only his second year there, studying with Benjamin Saunders, the Director of Music of Leeds Cathedral. In addition to grade 8 distinctions in organ, piano and singing, Francis also plays the bassoon and oboe. In his spare time, Francis enjoys learning languages and composing music in a variety of styles.
