Applications for Seminars

Please complete the form below if you would like to apply to hold a seminar, workshop or short conference at the Research Centre at St John's College. Before completing the form, you MUST:

• Check with Jackie Couling (01865 277325) whether there is residential accommodation available in College on the dates you want (SRC guest rooms should not be booked for conference purposes).
• Check with the Porters’ Lodge (01865 277300) that the rooms in the Research Centre are available on the dates you want (there is a Lecture Room in 45 St Giles that seats 35, and a Seminar Room in 46 St Giles that seats about 28. Both rooms are on the first floor. There is also a small kitchen and standing area in 45 suitable for catering purposes).
• If College catering is required, please check with Lynda Morgan (01865 277307) that it can be provided on the dates you want. For sandwich lunches in 45, Greens (next door to the Eagle and Child) provides a very acceptable sandwich lunch and will also do coffee and tea as requested. Order a few days beforehand in the café and ask to have the invoice sent directly to the Domestic Office.

Please note that the costs for rooms and meals are correct as of January 2011. For current costs, check with Jackie Couling. All overnight accommodation includes breakfast.
