Teaching Interests
My college teaching covers Constitutional Law for Law Moderations (1st year exams) and Land Law as well as European Union Law for FHS.
Research Interests
My research focuses on the Alternative Fund Management Industry, specifically Private Equity firms in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. I am currently looking at the implications of close shareholder involvement for traditional employer notions from a Company and Employment law perspective.
I am further interested in the commercial applications of Trusts Law and the European Union, for example its relationship with overseas territories.
Other Information
I read Jurisprudence (Course II) at Corpus Christi College, Oxford and the University of Paris II (Panthéon-Assas). Following completion of an LL.M. at Harvard Law School, I returned to work on my doctorate at Magdalen College, Oxford. My personal interests include travel, especially the aviation industry, and water sports (as a SCUBA diving and sailing instructor).
