Visiting College
Alumni are always welcome back at St John's. Please ignore the signs about visiting hours which are aimed at the general public.
As an alumnus/a of St John’s, you and up to three guests, are very welcome to visit any part of College, including the Gardens, during daylight hours. It would be helpful if you could introduce yourself at the Porters' Lodge upon arrival so they are aware of your visit.
Please feel free to enter the Chapel and see the Aubertin Organ or to visit the Alumni Common Room which is open six days a week. Alumni are welcome to visit the Library during normal opening hours, and to bring their families and friends, signing them in as guests.
Very occasionally parts of College are closed off because of events or for safety reasons.
