Using the Library
Access
The Library is open to all current members of College for use during staffed opening hours. The entrance is in the south east corner of Canterbury Quad, and requires a key fob. The Holdsworth Law Library in Kendrew Quad has its own access arrangements. Visitors from outside College should contact the Librarian in advance.
Currently all entrances to the Library are stepped, making wheelchair access very difficult. Members of St John’s who are physically unable to access the Library are encouraged to discuss their needs with library staff. Special arrangements can be made on an individual basis, including purchase of extra copies of texts, extended borrowing limits and email requests for book delivery.
