Lester B Pearson Graduate Scholarship
Over the past 7 years, alumni living in Canada have been making donations in support of a new graduate scholarship, which has been named in memory of the former Canadian Prime Minister and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lester B. Pearson, who matriculated at St John’s in 1921.
The Lester B. Pearson Scholarship will be available to a resident of Canada in any subject offered at St John’s. Thanks to a recent significant gift from a couple in Canada, along with the generosity of other Canadian alumni and in partnership with the Clarendon Fund we have been able to launch the scholarship this year. We are very pleased to be able to welcome the first recipient of the scholarship to St John’s this October.
