The College was thronged with people having a great time and enjoying a richly diverse programme of events on Saturday 10 March at the St John's Women's Festival.

Organised by the Women's Network, the Festival welcomed over 100 alumni, students, fellows, staff and friends of the College. They enjoyed a day of talks and workshops led by members of the St John’s community, on a diverse range of career paths, life experiences and academic subjects. There was also, of course, plenty of opportunity for networking and catching up with old friends.

Women's Festival March 2108This is what the women who attended the Festival had to say:

'I met so many hugely talented, driven and accomplished women, and the opportunity to connect with them in such an open and friendly environment was invaluable. It was a truly inspirational day. I can't wait to see what else the Women's Network has in store!'

'I just wanted to say a massive congratulations on yesterday’s event. There was a wonderful atmosphere and all the St John’s women I know who have moved away were inspired and proud.'

'I came home feeling energised and inspired by the achievements, aspirations and sheer determination of so many talented women to succeed, and to contribute to a wider community and environment. The thoughtfulness, honesty and integrity evident during the sessions, enabled us all to be part of a really meaningful discussion.'

'Thank you so much for organising this wonderful event. I very much enjoyed being there and feeling part of it.'
