Dr Robin Ostle

I give lectures and classes on modern Arabic Literature since 1850 covering theatre, the short story, the novel and modern poetry. Tutorials on all these topics supplement the lectures and classes, and these I give to students in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th years. I also help undergraduate students to organise and prepare special subjects or dissertations on a variety of themes within modern Arabic literature. Most years I act as an examiner in Arabic either for prelims, or the final honour school.
