We are pleased to invite alumni and friends back to St John's for the annual College Society Dinner on 21 September 2018.
The College Society
Dinner is a great opportunity for you to bring a guest (or guests) to
experience the wonderful tradition of an Oxford college dinner. Please
note that this year it is the week after the Oxford Alumni Weekend.
The price for the dinner is £60 (four courses, including drinks) for those who matriculated before 2008, and £30 for those who matriculated after 2008. Accommodation is available in College for the night of 21 September, at £50 per person including breakfast.
If you are celebrating a milestone why not take this opportunity to round up your peers and take a trip back down memory lane? We can seat you together as a group.
Do plan to come early as we have a full programme of activities planned:
The Alumni Common Room will be open in the afternoon offering a place to meet up with friends.
4.00 pm Tom Rocks Maths, Garden Quad
Dr Tom Crawford (2008) is a tutor with a passion for maths communication. He is also the Access and Outreach Officer for STEM and helping to deliver the St John’s Inspire programme. Whether it’s stripping back equations on his YouTube channel, explaining the maths of Pokémon on his website or telling you the fun facts about numbers that you didn’t realise you’ve secretly always wanted to know, his mission is to make everyone love maths as much as he does!
6.00 pm Organ Recital in the College Chapel by Sir Michael Scholar
We really hope that we can fill the Hall with alumni from every generation.
We regret that the College Society Dinner is now fully booked and we are unable to take any further registrations. Feel free to contact the Alumni Office on 01865 610 873 or email@example.com if you have already registered and have any questions.
