The SJC Women's Network is pleased to welcome Jane Morgan, Director of Communications at Salisbury Cathedral, to lead a discussion about career development, with a particular focus on women, challenges, adaptability and navigating non-linear careers.
Jane has over twenty years’ experience as a development and communications professional, much of it in the culture and heritage sector, including at the Corn Exchange Arts Centre in Newbury and Winchester Cathedral.
The discussion will be facilitated by Dr Emily Troscianko. Emily completed her DPhil on the "Kafkaesque" at Brasenose in 2010 and was a Junior Research Fellow in Modern Languages at St John's from 2010 to 2014, investigating "cognitive realism" in French and German literature. She now has a portfolio career that includes running a writing programme in the Humanities at Oxford, doing research on whether literary reading can have therapeutic or anti-therapeutic effects, offering recovery coaching for people with eating disorders, and writing a blog for Psychology Today.
The event will take place in the afternoon of Saturday 7th March 2020. All alumni, current students and staff are welcome to attend the event, which is free-of-charge.
If you have any questions about the event, please do not hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org.
