Terms of Agreement

St John’s College Library provides only low-res images (snapshots), which are strictly for private study and not for academic or commercial publications (print or electronic) of any kind. St John’s College is not the copyright owner of the material and the supply of images must not be understood as a permission to publish quotes from the images supplied or permission to publish the images themselves.

By filling in this form you must to declare that you

• will not use the image(s) supplied except for private study/ research and will not supply a copy of the image(s) to any other person
• agree to abide by UK copyright legislation and understand that you, and not St John's College, will bear full legal responsibility if any image supplied is used in a way that infringes copyright
• agree to obtain publication permission of the relevant current copyright holder for any kind of publication (print or electronic)

Please note that we cannot supply large quantities of images at short notice. While we endeavour to fulfil image orders as swiftly as possible, please be prepared for waiting times of up to one month depending on the quantity of images ordered.
