Returning to the college at which I read for the BCL, I give tutorials for St John’s in Trusts. I have taught Trusts for a number of years at several other Oxford colleges and have been a Visiting Lecturer in Trusts at King’s College London. I also continue to teach Trusts, EU, Administrative, and Constitutional Law at Keble College, Oxford, as the Harris Lecturer in Public Law.
My current research interests centre on the private-public law divide. I have also published in the field of immigration law, including, Bowling, B and Westenra, S. (2018) ‘Racism, Immigration and Policing’, in Race, Criminal Justice and Migration Control: Enforcing the Boundaries of Belonging, Oxford: OUP, and Bowling, B and Westenra, S. (2018) ‘“A really hostile environment”: adiaphorization, global policing and the crimmigration control system’, Theoretical Criminology.
