Biography:
I am a second year historian from Tring, Hertfordshire. I am currently the Vice-President of the JCR and the Treasurer of the Boat Club, rowing in the Men’s second boat.

Subject: Medicine (Preclinical)

Interests:
Playing the cello, running, volunteering in education.

Biography:
I grew up in rural south-west Wales, hence my passion for being outdoors – running, hiking, cycling and shooting. I also enjoy playing the cello in orchestras and solo performances. I am in my third year at St John’s, where I am studying medicine, with a focus this year in Neuroscience.

Interests:
As well as my interest in Physics, I love music and in my spare time I play the piano, sing in two choirs (chapel choir and OU Chorus) and play the cello in two orchestras. Last term, I was involved in rowing for SJCBC, and this term I have started volunteering with LinkAges at Isis House Care & Retirement Centre.

Biography:
I am currently in my 1st year of undergraduate Physics at St John's, before which I went to a state school in Birmingham. Whilst at school, I was a member of St John Ambulance and did volunteering in a charity shop. Now, when I'm not in Oxford, I'm revising Physics or working in McDonald's. I am not sure yet what I want to do after my degree, but I would be interested in going into research.

Interests:
Classical history and art, clay pigeon shooting, walking my dogs, wine and cooking.

Biography:
My family lives in the Worcestershire countryside, and we have two dogs - a black Labrador and a pug. In St John's, I am Treasurer of the Russell Society, and have enjoyed my time as social secretary of the football team, although my sporting career has not been distinguished! I have been involved in organising the last two freshers' weeks, and was a co-chair this year. Around the University, I am on the committees of the Union and of the Classics Society. I have loved my time at John's, and am trying to make the most of my third year before finals kick in!

Interests:
Rugby, netball, hockey, basketball, rowing.

Biography:
I have nearly completed my three years at St John's and have loved every minute of it. In between playing at Twickenham and competing in lots of different college sport events I've enjoyed learning about psychology from leading world experts. I've had an active role in the JCR, promoting sport and exercise and really love the community atmosphere at the College.

Biography:
I'm 18 years old, have just started my first year at Oxford and I'm absolutely loving it! I am an active member of the St John's JCR as both an Entz Officer and student ambassador. I love art in all its forms, from the poetry and art exhibition at the Dolphin gallery in St John's to singing regularly at open mic events and gigs.

Biography:
I am in my 3rd and final year as a biologist at St John’s and have enjoyed every minute of my time here. My course is wonderful but doing things to contrast academia is what keeps college life interesting. Painting with watercolours in my spare time is an amazing stress-reliever and my big passion for football keeps me active, social and above all happy.

Biography:
I am British-Zimbabwean and grew up in Mozambique, moving to the UK when I was 16 so I could attend a British sixth-form after being homeschooled prior to that. After this hodge-podge childhood, I enjoy the challenges and excitement of Oxford life. I look forward to spending my year abroad studying in Heidelberg from September, doing Portuguese, German and Comparative Literature.

Biography:
I'm Cecilia, a Finalist studying Music. I joined St John's in 2014, and since then have become fully involved in all that Oxford has to offer. During my time at John's, I have been part of the running of our JCR, a senior choral scholar for the chapel choir, and the Boat Club Women's Captain; outside of college life, I spend most of my time training and playing rugby for the university. After finishing my exams, I'm spending the summer teaching outdoor survival to children, and will hopefully be returning to Oxford in the next few years to pursue graduate study.

I'm a first-year History & Politics student from Sydney, Australia. During my high school years and my gap year I participated extensively in debating competitions - and I continue to debate competitively for the Oxford Union. I also write for the Cherwell, and I am the current Equality & Diversity Officer on the college JCR.

Interests:
Rowing, Football, Watches, Science Fiction

Biography:
I am a second year lawyer and an enthusiastic rower. For me, a good morning starts with an hour on the river followed by a good breakfast. I am German and have lived in four countries. Therefore, I have a fairly  international outlook on life. Besides rowing, I am also very interested in football. Additionally since I live in Switzerland I have started to become very passionate about watches.

Art, bad reality TV shows and dogs.

Biography:
I am currently the Vice President of LawSoc and so I spend much of my time at wittily named events, such as Burritos and Mojitos, and the rest of my time concocting new ones - Dosas and Samosas, anyone?
