  • Date 30 May 2021 - 11.00 a.m. - 5 June 2021 - 5.00 p.m.
  • Location Barn Gallery, St John's College Oxford, OX1 3JP

George Quiney's exciting solo show The Earth Moved takes as its starting point Hemingway's seminal novel For Whom the Bell Tolls, and in particular a moment of intense intimacy which is reprinted in the exhibition. The work spans print, paint, drawing and sculpture, creating links between processes, images and moods. George Quiney will also be carving in the exhibition space, creating new work in response to the space and the ideas explored in this show.

The exhibition is free and is open between 11am-5pm until Saturday 5th June in our Barn Gallery space just off St Giles'.
