Congratulations to Dr MaryAnn Noonan on winning the award for Outstanding Tutor in the Medical Sciences category at the OUSU Teaching Awards 2017.
OUSU Teacher Awards 2017 MaryAnn Noonan

Dr MaryAnn Noonan, Psychology Fellow at St John's, was given her award at a ceremony at Oxford Town Hall on 11 May. Speaking after her win she commented:

'It's incredibly fulfilling to work with such bright and thoughtful students and I'm sure they bring out the best in me. The nomination and award is also testament to all the support I've received as an Early Career Researcher at St John's and in the Department of Experimental Psychology. It's only possible to balance my research and nurture the students' individual passions in their subjects with the collective resources of the College and department.'

Each year OUSU invites students to nominate candidates in a variety of categories for the Teaching Awards. This year over 890 nominations were received for six categories. OUSU officers and student panels narrow this down to a shortlist before selecting the winners.
