The College is sad to announce the death of Rt Hon (Hywel) Rhodri Morgan (PPE, 1958), Honorary Fellow, on 17 May.

Rt Hon Rhodri Morgan was elected to Parliament as MP for Cardiff West in 1987 and joined the Welsh Assembly in 1999. He was the longest-serving First Minister for Wales (2000–09).  Chancellor of Swansea University since 2011, Rhodri Morgan also held an MA in Government from Harvard University.
