Christmas came early when children from the Bainton Road Nursery visited College on 5 December.

Nursery visit, Xmas 2017Visitors to College might have been forgiven for thinking that admission candidates were getting younger and younger when a group of two- and three-year olds from the Bainton Road Nursery visited the chapel to decorate a small Christmas tree. The tree, now adorned with the children’s glittery stars, Christmas stockings and paper chains, is in pride of place.

The Chaplain, Revd. Dr. Elizabeth Macfarlane, said:

‘It was great to have some of the youngest members of the College community decorating their tree in chapel.  Their singing of Christmas songs made my week – the choir had better look to their laurels!’

Bainton Road Nursery offers childcare to up to 26 babies and young children of College and University staff and students.
