Biography

My role is to assist with the management of the College Archive. The Archive holds documents relating to the history of St. John’s and the people and places associated with it. I have a varied job which includes responding to enquiries, supervising researchers, and listing and cataloguing material- by no means an exhaustive list!

I’m also part of the first cohort of Level 7 Archivist and Records Manager apprentices, which means I spend one day a week taking part in classes, studying, and completing assignments, with the end goal of qualifying as an Archivist. It has been really valuable to gain practical experience alongside my studies, and apply my learning to the Archive here at St. John’s.

Do email archives@sjc.ox.ac.uk if you have any questions about the Archives and our collections, or the Apprenticeship- visitors are very welcome!
