"On the queerness of friendship"

For the 2019 LGBT+ History Month Conversation, Professor Ian Klinke and St John's College are pleased to welcome Sneha Krishnan, who will be talking "On the queerness of friendship".
Sneha Krishnan is Associate Professor in Human Geography and Tutorial Fellow at Brasenose College. She is a cultural and historical geographer with an interest in gender, suicide and childhood in India, which she approaches from a feminist, postcolonial and queer theoretical lens. From 2015 to 2018, Sneha was a Junior Research Fellow at St John's College.
All students and staff of the College, and members of the wider university, are welcome. The event will start at 5.30pm and will be followed by a drinks reception.
