St John's is delighted to be welcoming Uriel Orlow as our new Artist in Residence for Trinity Term 2022. Uriel will be beginning his residency with a talk at our Barn Gallery space, which will also act as his studio for the duration of the residency.

Uriel Orlow’s practice is research-based, process-oriented and often in dialogue with other disciplines. Projects emerge out of concerns with spatial manifestations of memory, residues of colonialism, social and ecological justice, blind spots of representation and our entanglements with plants. Working across photography, film, drawing and sound his works bring different image-regimes and narrative modes into correspondence.
