Connection.jpgThis exciting exhibition of photographs explore a range of different communities, with photographs cohering around specific locations as well as shared social, historical and political conditions. Through the series of photographs four Oxford-based photographers examine the meaning of "community" as the word increasingly moves into the digital space, expanding the definition to include the notion of fellowship based on common attitudes, interests or aspirations.

Rob Judges is a semi-retired freelance feature photographer. His images have appeared in national newspapers such as the Times, the Telegraph and their associated magazines. He has shown at the ICA, London, at the RPS in Bath, Art Jericho (Oxford), Jam Factory (Oxford), in museums and Arts Council exhibitions.

Ania Ready is a Polish-born British photographer interested in exploring issues related to identity, social change and her Polish heritage. She has exhibited her work in solo and group shows in Oxford, London, Aylesbury, Colchester, Gdynia and Gdansk.

Bharat Patel is an Oxford based photographer working with NGOs and international charities. This has resulted in arresting images of those living and toiling under unimaginable conditions.

Uwe Ackermann is a retired physiologist, living in Oxford. He has previously exhibited at the Barn Gallery, Link Gallery (Oxford) and King’s College Art Centre (Cambridge).

The exhibition will be open 10am-4pm and entry is free.
