Jazz at St John's

For its second installment, the concert series brings back pianist and composer Dr Samuel Boateng (Career Development Research Fellow, St John’s College), and saxophonist Eve Boulos (Music, St John’s College). The night will also feature music by Zimbabwean vocalist and mbira master John Pfumojena, along with poetry by Oxford-based multidisciplinary artist and social justice advocate Rawz, as well as Nigerian poet and writer Yomi Chibuikem Folaranmi. Adepa Ensemble also includes Drum Dee (drums), Matthew Reavley (bass), and Jamie Castell (saxophone).
