Reveries of Collective Walkers (Reading to Plants) is an ambulatory collective reading performance in the Oxford Botanic Garden conceived by Uriel Orlow, Artist in Residence at St Johns College. While walking through the gardens, participants are reading selected texts (suggested by fellows and students) which feature human-botanical entanglements and plants as protagonists. The audience is invited to walk between the readers and tune in and out of different texts. The plants will be listening too (they love the CO2 emitted in the act of reading). This will be followed by a screening at the Barn (St Johns College) of selected films about human-plant entanglements by Uriel Orlow and a film-making workshop a few days later.

There will be a preparatory meeting for students wishing to participate in Reveries of Collective Walkers on Tuesday 31 May at 6pm in the Barn, Kendrew Quadrangle, St Johns College.
