Three St John’s College geography students who became long-term friends during the 1990s went on to carve out diverse and exciting careers. Kirstin Knell went on to work in management consulting and is currently Partnerships Manager at the Children’s Book Project, which seeks to tackle book poverty and to give every child the opportunity to own their own book. Cecilia Fellows became a specialists in property valuation and law and is now a partner in a leading UK property consultancy working across commercial, residential, rural, planning, development and infrastructure. Ali Barker took a masters in criminology, penology and management and went on to govern six prisons. She is currently Head of Business Efficiency for British Airways.

In this one-hour online event, Kirstin, Cecilia and Ali will share with us how they envisioned their futures when they matriculated and how they went on to develop their different careers and combine these with having children.
