Celebrating diversity with our annual BME Dinner

Ishta Sharma, the JCR BME officer and Imran Naved, the MCR BME officer, commented:  

'It was such a privilege to organise the BME dinner this year. Following a highly inspirational and thought-provoking talk from Dr Priyanka Dhopade, a postdoctoral researcher and pioneer of the ‘women in engineering’ movement, all the members of the BME community across the JCR, MCR and SCR gathered for drinks in the New Seminar Room, before a splendid dinner in the Senior Common Room. The annual dinner always presents a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the ever-flourishing diversity within the college community.'
