Come and see us on the University Open Days this week
On Open Days our lovely Student Ambassadors are available throughout the day to help you. They wear red polo shirts so they are easy to spot! They take guided groups around College, and answer any questions you may have about the student experience at St John's.
Programme for Open Day on 27 and 28 June 2018
College Opens to
visitors at 10.00 am
Please make your way to Canterbury Quad. Follow the signs and the red, black or
gold balloons, or ask one of our Helpers – they will be wearing red polo
shirts.
Tours of the
College: all day
These will be given by our Helpers at regular intervals throughout the
day (last tour 4.30 pm). This will include a look at our student accommodation.
There is no need to book – just turn up.
The Main Event –
‘Tea and Tutors’
In the afternoon we very much hope that you will come along to meet our
Tutors over a cup of tea/coffee in our Kendrew Café. We will be running two
sessions:
- 2.00 pm Maths,
Medicine and Sciences – Human Sciences will be in this session.
- 3.00 pm Arts and
Social Sciences – PPE and Law will be in this session.
Again, there is no need to book – just turn up.
Please note that College has a major building project underway this year. We are pleased to say that we are in the process of building a new Library and Study Centre, opening in the autumn, but this does mean that some areas of our lovely gardens will be out of bounds.
