It was a delight to welcome trick-or-treaters from Bainton Road Nursery into College last week.

On Thursday 31 October, St John’s was treated to a Halloween visit from the children and staff of Bainton Road Nursery. From pumpkins to astronauts, skeletons to princesses, our visitors were fully prepared for a morning of festive fun.

Their trick-or-treating began in the Lodge, with David, Lamin, and Harry all gratefully receiving slabs of chocolate cake!

The Works Office and Bursary staff were then similarly treated as the costumed-crew headed towards the gardens for a Pumpkin Hunt.

After their morning’s adventures (and with cauldrons laden with goodies!), the nursery enjoyed a well-earned lunch of ‘monster mash’ in Hall.

Thank you to all the children and nursery staff for lifting our spirits on a cold and misty Thursday morning. We hope you all had a wonderful Halloween and look forward to welcoming you back soon!
