Picture This! Michaelmas Term's photo competition is off to a great start

Some wonderful images have been submitted to Picture This! during the past two weeks, from both students and staff (see the gallery of photos below).

Two winners have been chosen. There's a very inspiring shot (pun intended) from Mark Blackwell, College Surveyor, taken during the belltower refurbishment (above Hall and the Chapel). Definitely not to be attempted without a harness and reminiscent of photos of the construction of New York skyscrapers in the 1930s, it's a wonderful image.

Our second winner is Mingyang Yi for 'Reflections', a very striking picture of Kendrew Quad seen through a window and the reflection from a laptop.

Both photographers have won a £50 Amazon voucher.

Do keep your entries coming. There will be a prize every week for the rest of term with the final weekly prize in 8th week.  

Then there will another prize of £100 Amazon voucher for the Photo of the Term, announced at the end of 8th week.

The competition is open to all current students, Fellows and staff of the College, so we encourage everyone to enter.
