Elizabeth Wonnacott awarded funding for new AI Education Hub
The AI in Education at Oxford University (AIEOU) Hub is one of three new interdisciplinary hubs to be awarded funding by the Social Sciences Division. Each hub has been awarded £40,000 to bring together researchers from across the collegiate University with external collaborators: 'forging new connections across disciplinary boundaries, facilitating interdisciplinary activities, and developing links with key, non-academic stakeholders'. More information about the three hubs can be found here.
The AIEOU is led by Principal Investigator, Dr Sara Ratner (Department of Education), with Professors Elizabeth Wonnacott (Department of Education) and Rebecca Williams (Faculty of Law) as Co-Investigators. Based in the Department of Education, AIEOU will promote a research-informed, ethical, human-centred approach to AI in Education that supports the diverse needs of the global educational landscape through collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Congratulations to the entire AIEOU team, particularly St John's Fellow, Professor Wonnacott. The College is proud to support Professor Wonnacott's cutting-edge and wide-reaching research.
