The College warmly congratulates all members of St John’s who received awards in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2022.

Our congratulations go to:

  • Professor Stephen Powis (1982, Medicine), National Medical Director, NHS England and NHS Improvement. Knight Bachelor for services to the NHS, particularly during Covid-19.
  • Catherine Mallyon (1981, Modern History), Executive Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. CBE for services to theatre and the arts.
  • Simon Shepherd (1985, Psychology, Philosophy and Physiology), Director, the Butler Trust. OBE for services to HM Prison and Probation Service.
