An inspiring talk by Ranjita Rajan to members of the St John's BME community on 1 February

Ranjita Rajan delivered a fascinating account of the background and experiences that led her to found the KARTA initiative, which exists to promote inclusive social mobility. From her work as an economist in developing countries to the corporate sector, Ranjita described her growing belief that 'global sustainability relies on unlocking the inherent human capital in the poorest people in the most fragile parts of the world'.

Attendees from the JCR, MCR and SCR gathered for drinks in the New Seminar Room, before the annual dinner in the Senior Common Room.
