St John’s students take a Roadshow to schools
Recently a team of six undergraduate student ambassadors embarked
on a five-day Roadshow, visiting 13 schools and talking to hundreds of pupils. The
local students took part in workshops and asked our ambassadors questions
relating to a wide range of topics about studying at Oxford.
The team, consisting of Amelia Wrigley, Anna McMurtrie, Céline Brendler-Spaeth, Jessica Prince, Kai Laddiman and Lewis O’Shaughnessy, gave students constructive advice about writing personal statements and shared first-hand expertise regarding their university studies.
Thanks to our great team of ambassadors for their hard work with our linked community students, many of whom begin their own university application process in the coming months.
" A huge thank you from us and all our students for the fantastic job Anna, Jess and Kai did today " teacher
" Inspiring and good fun " Lewis O'Shaughnessy, student ambassador
