Donna Jones
Biography
I am Donna Jones, Disability Coordinator.
Before I joined St John’s, I worked in the HR team for the Bodleian Libraries and Ashmolean Museum for 10 years. I have also worked in the Examination Schools supporting students before their exams, exam paper checking and guiding students to their exam rooms. Prior to that , I worked for a homeless charity.
I enjoy supporting people to get the best out of themselves and the context they are in and this role allows me to do just that. I offer support to students with a disability encouraging them to be comfortable disclosing and sharing their disability and I facilitate all forms of disability support relating to teaching and learning and assessments as well as College and University life. I am delighted to be a part of the wider Welfare team and helping students to thrive and get the best out of their studies at St Johns.
Outside of work, I keep active in the gym, go out for long walks and enjoy spending time with friends. I also like to be creative and do some painting from time to time.
