Biography

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Warsaw in 2019, during which I spent one year at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics in Bonn. I completed my PhD in 2023 at the Institute of Mathematics of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Piotr Gwiazda. During my doctoral studies, I spent over two years at the Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions in Paris, working with Benoît Perthame. In September 2023, I moved to Oxford to work with José A. Carrillo, before joining St John’s College as a CDRF Fellow in October 2025.

Teaching

Over the past few years, I have taught a range of courses, from introductory subjects such as Introductory Calculus, Dynamics, Fluids and Waves, Constructive Mathematics, and Special Relativity, to more advanced courses closely related to my research area, including Functional Analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Hyperbolic Conservation Laws, and Fixed Point Methods in PDEs.
I greatly enjoy supervising student projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in Analysis and Partial Differential Equations, and I am currently co-supervising one DPhil student.

Research Interests

I work in the field of nonlinear partial differential equations, which are commonly used to model a wide range of physical phenomena, such as heat, fluid dynamics, and quantum mechanics. My current focus is on singular limits, rigorously proving that one equation can be derived from another. I also work with equations arising in data science and machine learning, aiming to enhance the understanding and effectiveness of widely used methods in these areas.
