Petros Spanou

I am the Academic Lead (Inspire) at St John’s College. I completed my DPhil in History at Balliol College, and alongside my work at St John’s I teach undergraduates across various colleges, as well as postgraduates at the Department for Continuing Education.

My thesis examined intellectual, political, religious, and cultural debates during the Crimean War. I am currently teaching papers on 19th- and 20th-century British history.
