Biography

Formerly a JRF at St John’s and then a Stipendiary Lecturer, Ann Jefferson was elected to a Fellowship at New College in 1987, where she is now an Emeritus Fellow. She has held Visiting Professorships at Columbia University and the Sorbonne, and she is a Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques.
