Alumni Guest Room Booking

We have changed the way in which you can book rooms within Alumni House. The system has been automated and you can now check availability, book and pay for rooms using the link below. To do so, you will require the promotional code and this will be included in each of our monthly e-newsletters.

We are very pleased to be able to offer guest rooms at Alumni House for alumni to use when they are returning to St John’s. The rooms are managed as part of the College’s overall accommodation, which is primarily student-focused, rather than what one might expect from a hotel. We have 5 Guest Rooms and a Guest Flat. The new online system enables you to easily make and pay for bookings.

Please note that the twin room on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible through the back entrance to the building. The Alumni Guest Flat consists of an en-suite room with double bed, an open-plan sitting/dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition to the flat, there are two further double rooms and three twin rooms.

Parking in College is not available, please see the Visit us page for further information.


Facilities include:

  • Free wi-fi access
  • Tea and coffee making facilities
  • En-suite bathrooms (bath with shower)
  • British Allergy Foundation approved hypoallergenic bedding

Costs:
All rooms must be prepaid.

2025 Prices

Guest Rooms: £85 single occupancy and £120 double occupancy

Guest flat: £100 single occupancy and £140 double occupancy

To make a booking, you will need to enter a promotional code to identify yourself as an alumnus/a. The code is included in our monthly e-newsletter. If you cannot find the code, please email us including your matriculation year.

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made up to 24hrs before the booking, with a full refund. Cancellations cannot be made over the phone, please email the Development and Alumni Relations Office.
