Medieval Vestments Conference, March 9th and 10th

St John's College, Oxford will be holding a two-day conference on medieval vestments and textile creation from March 9th-10th. The Vestments Conference is inspired the college's own collection of medieval vestments, a collection they are opening up against the backdrop of impressive speakers, interactive workshops, and dynamic displays.

The diverse programme explores medieval tapestry from a variety of perspectives—commercial, liturgical, feminist, the environs of St John's, etc—and includes engaging workshops and a dynamic display.
