Student Welfare Advisors
St John's College is seeking to appoint Student Welfare Advisors to start in Hilary Term 2025. This is a two-year appointment open to students enrolled on a full-time graduate research course at the University of Oxford for the entirety of the appointment.
The primary duty of the Student Welfare Advisors is to provide proactive and wellbeing support for students on a wide range of welfare issues. The position requires an appreciation of the welfare and disciplinary issues relevant within a student community. The candidate must also be a mature person with good judgement, discretion and an ability to relate to people at all levels.
The Student Welfare Advisors will receive a stipend of £9,817 p.a. Weekly hours will vary but are expected to average 10 hours per week during term time. Generous accommodation will be provided, including dining rights.
