An Evening with Alex Bollen at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zürich

On September 30th the SJC Women’s Network was engaged in an event with the Zürich hub of the global 500 Women Scientists group.

Alumni Alex Bollen (1991, Modern History), presented on her highly acclaimed book Motherdom: Breaking Free of Bad Science and Good Mother Myths that was published earlier this year.

The event was open to members of Zürich University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich as well as alumni based in Switzerland. The event was very popular and over subscribed.

Alex presented on her book and read some extracts and questions and comments afterwards were very lively. This was followed by a drinks reception. Details of Alex’s book and Dr Kate Molesworth's recent review of the book can be accessed here.
