We're recruiting! We are looking for members of the SJC community to join our Steering Group.

The Steering Group creates events and collaborates with the College to realise the aims of the Women's Network to celebrate, inspire and empower. Joining the Steering Group is a fantastic opportunity to experience committee membership and utilise your professional skills within another broader context. It provides both professional and personal development, as well as countless networking opportunities.

The Steering Group meets around four times a year, and each member of the committee brings something to the table depending on their skillset. We are an inclusive group, and there are no limitations based on experience, background, age or gender. The current Steering Group comprises of around ten members who range from current JCR students to alumni to college staff; and represents SJCWN members from across the generations.

In the current recruitment cycle, we would particularly welcome Early Careers representatives or those who have graduated within the last decade. We also encourage applications from those who can commit to organising one of our calendar of diverse events; previously this has included everything from interactive workshops examining different life stages, academic lectures on a plethora of topics from Sport and the Menstrual cycle to diversity in the City, and social events such as Puppy Yoga! Whatever you would like to focus on, we are keen to hear from you.

If you have the drive to bring about tangible outcomes, fellowship and empowerment to the SJC Women's Network, please send across an email to women@sjc.ox.ac.uk. We are happy to answer any questions, and to discuss your motivations for joining the Steering Group.
