Here we introduce a member of our Steering Group

Zoe matriculated in 2016 and read Human Sciences BA at John’s. She was elected JCR Women’s Officer for 2017-2018 and really enjoyed her time in the role which included leading the introduction of more sustainable and inclusive sanitary products for the JCR.

Zoe Stockton

Since graduating in 2019, Zoe worked as a Mental Health Support Worker for Mind/NHS for a year, joining just as the pandemic started which was quite the baptism of fire. She then transitioned into the world of start-ups, working as a generalist in an early stage company developing robotics for sustainable agriculture with responsibilities in business strategy and development, PR and marketing, HR and anything else they could throw at her. In 2023-24, Zoe is working as a freelancer and looking for her next opportunity.

Outside of work, Zoe is a keen volunteer with interests in health, sustainability and the arts. She previously held a committee position with OxCAN, the Oxford Climate Alumni Network; worked with Public Health Pathways, a global charity set up during the pandemic; and is training as an Adviser for Citizens Advice in her local area.

Zoe is the current Secretary for the Women’s Network, taking up the position in late November 2023.
