Sarah P

Hello, my name is Sarah, I am a mother of four and have 25 years’ experience working with children from birth to 6 years. I started my career in community-run pre-schools and then trained as an Early Years and Primary Teacher and have never looked back.

Working at Bainton Road Nursery provides me with an opportunity not only to manage but to continue my passion to teach young children and be part of an extended family that builds the foundations for lifelong learning.

Julie

Hello, my name is Julie. I have been in childcare for over 20 years. I joined the Bainton Road family in November 2016. Bainton Road Nursery is like no other nursery in its design and family feel. The children and their families are at the centre of all that we do and I love being able to be a part of their journey of fun, development and discovery. I look forward to meeting you.

Rachel

Hello, my name is Rachel and I am very excited to be part of the Bainton Road Nursery team. I have worked with children developing my childcare skills from when I left school, almost 30 years ago. During that time, I have worked in a variety of settings including pre-schools, primary schools and as a nanny.

I am a mum myself, so I know and understand how important it is to have the highest standards of care and attention, to support children to become confident, caring and independent little people and I very much look forward to being part of that journey with them.

Sarah J

Hello my name is Sarah, I have worked in childcare for nearly 10 years, in a number of different types of settings. I really enjoy working at Bainton Road Nursery as the atmosphere feels welcoming and homely and the children are a dream to teach, they have also taught me a few things since starting. I am excited to start my new adventure with the Bainton Road family and infect the nursery with my bubbliness.

Mohibun (Nessa)

Hello my name is Mohibun, but I liked to be called Nessa. I have 11 years of experience working with under 5’s working my way up from lunch cover to the third in charge position, in my previous nursery. I recently joined the Bainton Road family and love the interactions I see with children and carers. I look forward to putting my own experiences and knowledge into practice, supporting the children to learn and thrive.

Sophie

Hello, my name is Sophie and I’m very excited to be part of the Bainton Road team.

My journey into childcare began in 2012 when my own daughter started to attend Preschool, at the time I was volunteering with local childcare groups and then made the decision to study childcare alongside this. After I qualified I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with ages ranging from 2 – 11 years.

I have a great passion for the natural world and there’s not much I enjoy more than getting my hands dirty growing new plants or food that I’ve never grown before, and taking care of all the creatures that I find there. There’s probably not a bug or beast that I don’t know the name of and I love being able to share that enthusiasm with the children in my setting.

Leanne

Hello, I’m Leanne and I’ve been working in early years settings for 6 years. Prior to this I also worked for a local dance school which is where my passion for working with young children began. I love getting creative and I don’t shy away from messy play. There is never a dull day here whether it’s building empathy, learning to share or crazy conversations!

Sulva

Hello, my name is Sulva and I have been working in childcare since 2018. I started working with a childcare agency with no experience, but studied to achieve my Level 2 qualification.

I have learned so much over the past four years and am passionate about teaching children in the early years, supporting their all-round development and skills for later learning. I am so happy to join the Bainton Road team and to share my knowledge and skills.

Aaron

Hello, my name is Aaron and I am the nursery chef. I have been in the catering industry for just under a decade, working in various kitchen environments and kitchens, including day nurseries for the last six years. I really enjoy cooking for the children and creating opportunities for them to cook. In my spare time, I enjoy sporting activities, I am an avid golfer, but also enjoy other sporting activities, hockey and football.

Farheen

Hello, my name is Farheen. I have worked in childcare since 2017 and, throughout those years, I have gained different experiences and knowledge from working in different nurseries. I enjoy watching the children grow and develop and see their personalities evolve. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and going for long walks .

Kathleen

Hello, my name is Kathleen. I have worked in childcare for eleven years, in a variety of different settings including in schools and as an au pair. I joined Bainton Road Nursery in 2021 and left to travel in Australia. It wasn’t a hard decision to return to the nursery, as it is such a wonderful place. Being a small nursery, we have the opportunity to create wonderful bonds with the children and families, making it a really special place to work.
