St John's is pleased to offer Summer Schools to all pupils on our Inspire Programmes

All pupils on our Inspire Programmes are invited to take part in virtual summer schools. We also host residential summer schools for Years 11 and 12 on our Inspire Programmes. Places for these are competitive and pupils will be invited to apply when applications open.

Residential Summer Schools

Our summer schools are the perfect opportunity to explore a range of different subjects, make friends with students from other schools and stay overnight in St John’s halls of residence. They are free of charge, and we also have travel awards available to help pupils cover the cost of traveling to and from St John's College. Click here for more information on these awards.

In 2022 we are running residential summer schools between 24th July and Friday 5th August.

Virtual Summer Schools

In 2020 and 2021 the Inspire Summer Schools took place virtually on our platform Inspire Digital. In 2020 participants explored the power of volcanoes, took part in academic taster sessions, and competitions! Click here to find out more

Support and Assistance

St John's College is committed to ensure that everyone can take advantage of our Access and Outreach opportunities. We support those who would otherwise not be able to attend a Virtual Summer School effectively from home with the Inspire Digital Assistance Awards and also assist those unable to afford the travel costs of attending a Residential Summer School with the Inspire Travel Awards
