SJC Online: Homer and the Bible with Dr Emma Greensmith
The Development and Alumni Relations Office is pleased to present the recording of SJC Online: Homer and the Bible with Dr Emma Greensmith.
In light of the coronavirus pandemic, we have launched our SJC Online series to enable the Fellows of St John’s to connect with members of our community from wherever they are in the world.
Dr Emma Greensmith is a Tutorial Fellow in Classics and specialises in ancient Greek literature and cultural history. For this event, she discusses some of the research that she is currently undertaking on the reception of Homer in new literary spaces, including imperial Greek epic and the Bible.
