We are now on the final push of the Porters' Lodge - snagging, testing and commissioning.

The new barriers for the archway are on order and should be with us in early November. All other works are expected to be completed this month, when the building can be handed initially to the Porters for training and familiarisation before they relocate across and we remove the temporary cabin.

New glass doors have been installed at the entrance and exit to the reception area, and finishing touches and final tweaks to the joinery are being applied to the reception area itself. The toilet is now complete, as is the welfare area. The hoardings have been removed from the external side of the main Lodge gate, so that the gates can now be cleaned.

In the next few weeks we'll be rectifying any defects throughout the project, and the Porters' induction and training will commence.
