Update 7: 1 May 2020

On Tuesday we jointed and extended the electrical cable (find out more in the previous update), despite the heavy rains - thoughtfully, a gazebo was provided which kept the worst of the rain off the engineer. The electrical shutdown went fairly smoothly, and we are grateful to everyone for their forbearance. 

We are now able to continue with the propping works and lowering of the floor, and next week the work involves the continuation of 1st fix electrical works and setting out of the stud wall in the student post and parcel rooms.
